Xanthus (Golden hair) "ZEUS"
Hi my name is Angela. I have been breeding Boston Terrier Puppies for about 10 years. I have a great love for this breed. The last 5 years I have taken a special interest and fallen in love with the fawn colored, as well as the Red bostons. I have done a lot of research on these colors. I have found them to be just as healthy, lovable, and as awsome as the traditional colors. I am no longer breeding for puppies. I am now only offering a stud service. ZEUS, came to us from Texas. His father has produced both traditional and colored of-spring. Some of them have gone on to become show champions.
Just a little about Me and my family: I have the most awsome husband! And 3 wonderful children. We live in a small town outside a big one! We live on a half acre that is completely fenced and safe. We have a heated area for our Zues and any visiting females Zeus may have. The entire family, all love the Boston Breed!! We do everything we can, to better this breed's health, conformation and dispositions. I believe in health testing my dogs. Zues has had his patella's checked and they are in excellent shape. We love our pets and they are all a big part of our family. I have scaled down to just one stud due to a new job and time constraints so Zeus gets all the love and attention he needs.
About Xanthus Zeus
Xanthus is greek for golden hair, "Zeus" Is the name we call him most of the time. His mom was 11 lbs and his dad 15. He was born in July of 08. Zeus at this time weighs 14 lbs. He may make it to 15lbs. He is on the smaller side when it comes to Boston Terriers. He came from Cypress Kennel in Texas. His mom is Pandora and his dad is Duke. His dad is fawn & White. His mom is reverse brindle & white (fawn factored). Zeus came from a batch of 5. His siblings were brindle and white. He carried the wonderful Hagitty dot (or thumbprint) on his forhead. He is very smart. Along with being house trained, He knows how to Sit, Lay down, Fetch, Speak, play dead, give us 5. and he is working on rollover. and continues to learn more each day. He loves riding in cars and is a big part of our family.
Fawn boston terriers have a black nose and 'eyeliner' so to speak (they look like a mini Boxer). They are a carrier of the Black & White or Brindle and white gene. They are not to be confused with chocolate, liver, or red bostons as these have a nose that matches the body color. Fawns are usually produced when two brindles where bred together. So contrary to what some people may say, fawns boston terriers are NOT a mixed breed dog, or inferior to their black and white counterparts in any way. They are just a beautiful fluke in the Boston Terrier. When Balck & white or Brindle and white's are bred with a Fawn it will usally result in a Black and white or a brindle & white , usually resulting with more brindling.

Zeus will Be available for breeding on first come first serve basis. We prefer breeding with Boston Terriers but will consider other small breeds. Zeus is now a Proven Stud. His first batch was a batch was with Sophie, A Back/White with just a little brinde. Together they had 5 beautiful brindle puppies.
If you do not live close, We will be happy to house your female in our heated/cooled area with access to a fully fenced 1/2 acre yard until breeding session is complete.
